Eating chocolate while pregnant is safe. However, pregnant women should make sure to keep their caffeine intake under 200mg per day. That means that anything in excess can be harmful to your body and the baby’s. In moderation, chocolate is great! And here are a few simple reasons why dark chocolate in particular is very beneficial:

- The high amount of antioxidants, also known as flavanoids, can help improve immunity.
